SOURCE: fuel filter location

The oil filter is in an aluminum cylinder on the engine. It is not a "spin on" filter, it is now a cartridge-type filter. When you get one, make sure that you use the new o-rings provided in the filter box. The fuel filter is in the tank. Hope this helps, the graciousness of a FixYa rating would be appreciated. Thanks.

SOURCE: I need to know where the heater control valve is

Hello brenda_peter: My name is Roger and I will help you. You will find the heater control valve under the hood. Locate the brake booster. Look to the left and you will see a valve with 3 hoses on it. The valve will also have a cable on the top of it. This is the valve you asked about. This is the only valve. It controls the front and rear heat. Should you need further help please just ask. Please rate the quality of your answer. This way I know it was helpful. Thank You for using Fix Ya. Roger

How do I fix trouble code p1354 on a 2000 Toyota avalon?

P1354 Toyota Description
Variable Valve Timing (VVT) system controls the intake valve timing to proper timing in response to driving condition. The Engine Control Module (ECM) controls Oil Control Valve (OCV) to make the intake valve timing properly, and, oil pressure controlled with OCV is supplied to the VVT controller, and then, VVT controller changes relative position between the camshaft and the crankshaft.

Have a 2001 toyota avalon xls. P1354 manufacturer's control code comes up--engine light is on. Does this have to do with oil pressure??

P1354 is VVT system malfunction bank 2. VVT it Variable Valve Timing. Your ECM controls 2 OCVs (Oil Control Valves) which corrects engine valve timeing for driving conditions. there is a possibility that a pice of debrise has plugged the oil passage in the Bank 2 OCV. If you do not maintain good oil health ( changing your oil and oil filter regularly ) oil will sludge and harden in areas. a pice of this can become dislodged and travel through your oil system and cause a blockage in the system. Other possibilities are, Faulty wireing to the OCV, Faulty OCV, or Faulty ECM

Where is the oil filter housing located on a 2009 Avalon and how is it disassembled?

One of (3) places. if you do not see a filter or filter housing underneath the car, it may be on top of the engine. if you still do not see on top of the engine, remove the plastic engine cover and find the oil filter housing. If all else fails, get a string flashlight and repeat all the steps...I sometimes find that I overlooked the filter because Toyota filters are "black" in color.
