SOURCE: Torque and sequence to Intake Manifold for 3.3L Nissan Xterra 2000

Hi El Faraon,
I believe that you're dealing with 12 mm bolts and nuts....THESE ARE NOT THE SPECS FOR YOUR ENGINE, but I believe that if you use them you'll be close....Tighten in three stages up to 22nm....choose the bolts from the centre of the manifold and circle outwards until you reach the last one.....It may be a good idea to draw an overhead or plan view of the unit, marking out the bolt positions.....Start at the centre and mark the sequence and follow that....What is important is starting at the centre, so that nothing becomes warped....

Hope this helps,

Regards, Johngee10

SOURCE: 87 samurai bolt torque specs for engine

The haynes book is not recommended since there are numerous mistakes and they still will not update. One of the biggest is the firing order.

The factory service manual is the only way to go.

Head bolts - 46 - 50.5 lbs (there is an order sequence for the bolts)

Intake & exhuast manifolds- 13.5 - 20 lbs

Flywheel - 41.5 - 47 lbs

Clutch cover - 13.5 - 20 lbs

What are the torque specs for the intake manifold on a 2002 Buick Rendezvous

the torque spec's require you to tightened to 10 ft lbs and then tighten another 30 degress which will give you about 12 to 15 ft lbs of torque. make sure that you start in the middle and work your way out when tightening manifold because it will crack easily.

Tightening sequence diagram for a 97 buick lesabre intake manifold?

Bellow is an "example" of the tightening sequence for an intake manifold. The sequence is usually the same for most vehicles, but you should refer to a Haynes/Chilton manual for your specific make and model of vehicle to verify tightening sequence and torque specs. Please rate/vote this reply if you found this information helpful.
