Hi,

I have not come accross a P2225 error code on a Toyota (Sienna). Best I can gather is this error indicates "NOx Sensor Heater Sense Circuit Intermittent (Bank 2)". on an OBDII Code Reader.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.

Thank you for using FixYa.

SOURCE: 1998 toyota sienna. code says

It appears that you have a bad spark plug. You may want to get a new set of plugs, and possibly wires if they haven't been changed in a while.

Rather you, or someone else changes the plugs, try to make a mental note to look at the plug in the #3 cylinder when it is removed, just to make sure it doesn't have oil on it, that would raise other issues. Hopefully the plug is just old and worn.

I hope this helps you.

hello, the banks 2 sensor is located in the exhaust manifold near the firewall and visible from the top, you will need a special o2 sensor socket to remove it.

2001 Toyota Sienna CEL displayed code P1150 & P0420 what could be the problem

Mine is a 2001 Sienna LE. I got the P0420 code and the dealer want to replace an engine control computer for $1600. I've found posts that say you can replace your oxygen sensors, which still costs around $100 each. The P0420 seems to be emissions related. When my check engine light comes on, I run the highest grade, no ethanol gas, and usually within a couple of tanks, the light goes off again. The last time it happened about 2 wks ago, I put in the 93 octane no ethanol premium and a can of Seafoam and within a half a tank, the light went out. Your problem might be more serious, and I don't know what the 1150 code is, but so far that's worked for me.
