Depending on how the system is set up, it could be a heater control valve or a blockage in one of the hoses.
You would need to check both heater hoses going to the rear unit to see if both are hot.
Also make sure the radiator is full of coolant.

SOURCE: Front air condition does not blow cold. Rear air condition does

sounds like a damper door in the front not working properly, these are actuated by the front temp control, the door is operated by either a manual cable, and electric actuator, or vacuum. I hope this helps you zero in on your problem. Merry Christmas

SOURCE: heat wont work 2001 lincoln town car cartia

Hello Callahan5922....this sounds like a stuck blower motor resistor. I assume the blower won't function in the a/c mode either? If you have a digital multimeter you can check this. I believe it's fuse #2....if the digital indicator goes up or down when you increase or decrease the fan speed thats good. Locate the blower motor wil find it located on the fire wall behind the right valve cover hiding behind the heater hose, it's about the size of a cigarette pack. With the engine off, and key in on position, turn the A/C on High, and rap a tap tap tap on the resistor. You might be suprised when the blower motor takes off a runnin,
I hope this is the answer you need and i was able to help solve this for you. Good luck...

Sounds like it could just be a blown fuse. Check the fuse box (the guide should be in the manual) and see if any of them are blown. Your limo should be back to normal in no time if this is the case. It's a quick fix.

I have an american coachworks limo 120 stretch 2001 lincoln towncar. I am not getting power in the rear of the limo.... no lights, nothing. When I unplug the auxilary battery I get lights....whats...

Given, if ALL FUSES are good, then there must be a relay somewhere... (or a fusible link, which ford's were known for, ugh). Also, if there are two batteries, usually there's an isolation device that's used between the two batteries. One of the batteries might be dead, which you can get tested easily, or if not, I would examine that isolation device closer.

I have a 2003 Pontiac Grand Am. The heat doesn't work. The blower does not blow any air. What's wrong? Blower motor? heater core? what might it be?

Sounds like the blower motor may have died. There should be some sound coming from motor even if there is no heat. So most likely the motor has died.

97 Town Car Limo wants to stall after big group gets in.

If its killing it self off blowing up the suspension have you checked it for leaks seeing if its just constantly blowing through a hole. Being a limousine owner my self I know if you have to much running at once such as both ACs, Music, lighting etc it does get rather upset when you ask it to power so much at once.

Anyone know fuse number for front heater for 96 lincoln town limo

The frist thing i would look at would be the blower motor feed a live wire to it to make sure the motor has not gone but the fuse will be under your let knee not sure want number, but all so give the motor a tap with some thing to see if this makes it work.
