The temperature sending unit tells the computer that the engine is cold when first started. After engine is warmed up, if the computer things engine is still now warm, it's still in cold start mode and dumping too much fuel into the engine and flooding it making it hard t start or no start at all. I'd have the temperature sending unit in the engine replaced to see if it's cured. It's separate from the gauge or light and they would show warmed up, but the computer is not getting the message.
The van runs great for a wile then it starts chocking and dies. I changed the fuel filter and fuel pump. And it still doing it. I hooked it to computer and the fuel system reading will go from closed L to open L and that's when it starts to shut off
If these lights still work on your excursion then it is probably not a fuse problem. It sounds like it is a loose pin(s) with the trailer plug or a loose electrical connection(s) on the trailer or maybe the bulbs on the trailer are burned out. This should help, if not then contact me again at FixYa and I will be glad to help.
