The fuses take their power from a common rail so if theres no power at the fuse box you have bigger issues. I would suspect your actual fault is a relay have you checked this?

You need to investigate this as it going to be the problem! to prove the rest of the system you could put 12v direct to the motor from the battery (it switches through the earth so ensure the switch is off as you connect) and then try it. navigating my manual to give you the correct wire to check in the fuse box is taking ages

aha didn't get that last post. around the left hand a pillar there is a connection between the fuse and the motor with about 40 wires. In my manual it's connector c70 the wire is number 4 not that that helps you much, but the wire should be green and orange. trace your voltage to/from there

incidently...also ensure the earth is good. check continuity from the motor black/red wire to earth with the switch in the full on position

The heater fan blower motor isn't working and fuses are good but someone had taken off a add on security sys.t also have no power at the fan speed switch

First check the blower motor relay swop one in the fuse box with the same number on it or listen for a click when you turn the switch on if you here a click then its good.So if the relay is good then check the connection on the blower motor resistor by performing the wiggle test or replace the blower motor resistor. These resistors are known for over heating causing this problem.

Where is the fuse to the heater fan blower located in my 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix. Owners manual has 3 different fans. Is it the HVAC fuse or one of the 3 fans? The heater fan quit and want to check the...

Hi, should be listed as heater blower motor not fans ,the fans is the ones in front of radiator. most common problems are the blower motor resistor, which is in passenger side compartment near fire wall. This is were your blower motor is also. You can check and see if its getting power to resistor, with a test light if power is at resistor, check and see if you are getting power at blower motor if no power there replace resistor. But if you have power at motor replace blower motor. If i can help further just re post. thanks

My blower fan only wrks on high. is there 2 separate fuses?

The blower fan only working on high is caused by only one thing, that is a defective blower motor speed control resistor, the resistor is located next to the blower motor in the air ducting, replace it and the problem is solved.

I have a 2000 sportage. The heater fan does not

It may be the blower motor, or it may be the blower resistor. Check for power at the blower motor. If power present with system on and blower has good ground, motor bad. If no power check blower resistor in air box prior to blower motor. If power on input side but nothing coming out to blower change resistor.

2001 town and country front heater blower dose not work at all

the internal fuse box is located above drivers feet, and if you need to replace the blower motor resistor its located under the hood on passenger side behind the strut tower to the right a bit on the fire wall.no screws hold it in, has to be pulled out just snaps in.the only reason resistor would require changing is if your blower motor only has high speed .

Heater fan on 2002 Yukon does not operate in front, only rear.

The front blower motor is controlled by the blower resistor module. This is usually the problem with the front blower not working.I looked up the schecmatics and I don`t see separate fuses for the front and rear. But the fuse for the front blower is in the under hood fuse block. If this is good then The problem is probably the resistor module. It is next to the blower motor. The connector from the resistor connects to the blower motor. If you want to confirm this you can check for power and ground at the blower motor connector when you activating the blower switch on.This can be done with a test light.Make sure you have power going into the resistor module also.If you have power going in and no power at the blower motor then replace the resistor.Hope this helps.Good luck.

1999 dodge caravan,my heater fan only goes on at #4,its was working fine yesterday, any suggestion thx.

It is the blower motor resistor located behind the dash glove box. Take the glove box out to access and change. It is mounted on/into the fire wall.
Very easy to access, remove and install a new resistor.
