Have you tested your starter??? i would remove that and take it in to ur local autozone or oriellys and have your starter tested before anything else.

SOURCE: I have 2005 Nissan altima that wont start. It

Nissans are known to have problems with ignition coils which would not show up on code reader. I would start with that. Pull a plug and hold it to ground to see how strong the spark is while turning engine over. If the plugs are wet when you take them out then you can be sure it is in all probability related to coils.

Turn key wont crank

Possible issues: too many to list

Do you hear a clicking sound when you turn the key to "START"? If so, I'd say your battery is dead.

Do any of your gauge lights, head lights, radio, etc. work just fine? If so, I'd guess you have a bad ignition, bad coil, or bad starter.

Likely issues:
Dead battery
Bad coil
Bad ignition switch
Bad starter

I have a 1995 GMC Sonoma that will not start when turn ignition switch lights will come on etc but engine will not turn over battery is good etc but nothing happens

Make sure all the ends on your battery cables are clean and tight. I got a tow in because my car would not try to start even tried boosting to no avail. All my lights and radio was working but they said the cable was corroded and would not let the full power work. We replaced the battery cables and worked like new now.

Do you know how to use a DVOM - digital volt ohm meter ? You need to check volt on the starter circuit , ignition etc... Anything that controls the starter , relay , ignition switch . First looking at a wiring diagram to see what all is involved in starting the vehicle . You can find a wiring diagram at http://www.bbbind.com/free_tsb.html Enter your vehicle info. year , make , model an engine . Then under system click on engine , then under subsystem click on starting .Then click on the search button .Video's on youtube for testing starting circuit . check to make sure yu have 12v at the battery, once you do turn the ignition to start, if nothing, check the fuse and relays that control ignition, if all is good then the click sound is coming from the starter, have the solenoid replace.

Suddenly stop turning over have power to starter switch etc. but won't start friend says that clutch sensor is dead but I don't know what I'm looking for. I've got half of the dash apart still not fin

Clutch position sensor? Never heard of one. There is a switch on the pedal arm that won't let you crank the engine unless the clutch is depressed. Do the headlight test. Turn on you headlights and push in the clutch and crank over the engine. If your lights dim, your battery is low, If the lights go out uou have a loose battery connection or poor cable to battery contact. If they do nothing, then you need to ck the clutch switch. I would say it is number 2

check you fuses and clean your battery terminals, you might have a relay that controls you ignition. or could be your coil pack.
