If it ain't broke--don't fix it! Only one belt, so just look to see if white thread lines are apearing on smooth side--if yes, you should change it( also look for missing ribbing on other side). I assume you are reffering to radiator hoses--look for cracking in the rubber( mainly by the clamps) replace if they are there.

It sounds like you have a busted out heater core, or the hoses running to the heater core are busted out. You'll have to open it up to check, but that's where your problem is.

My 1993 buick park ave rides fine with 2 people but with 4 the rear bottoms out regularly. The compressor pump runs pretty much every time I shut the engine off. Is it struts, pump or what?

I had just the same problems with my 93- Park Avenue. The mecanic man found leaks on the supply
hoses from the compressor and repleced the hoses. Easy job. I have resently replaced my struts and that helpt even more.

1998 Buick Park Ave with trouble code p0440

Trouble code p0440 may be a simple as an improperly replaced gas cap, or a crack in one of the evap hoses.
Have the code cleared, if it comes back, find a shop that will do a "smoke test" to find the bad evap hose, and have it replaced.

92 buick park avenue won't blow hot air - temp control seems to be working

Make sure there are no leaks and that the system is full to capacity. After the vehicle has warmed up check radiator hoses for temperature differecial also check heater core hoses. A significant difference in temperature may indicate a plugged heater core or thermostat failure

91 Buick Park Avenue front left caliper slow to release. Replaced caliper and have same problem. After running a few miles and jacking up front end the whell cannot be turned by hand on left side. Right...

The caliper is probably rusty inside, and is stucked. Take it apart and clean it. You may need new rubber seal as well. This will save you money over buying a new one.
