Open the hatch and look at the back of the brake light assembly, you will see 2 plastic disks with a little slot in the bottom, insert a flat screwdriver into the slots and pop these disks off, they pop off easily Under the disks are phillips head screws, remove both screws Now, you can't see them, but there are 2 pins built into the brake light assembly which extend into sockets in the body of the car, to remove the assembly, wiggle the entire assembly and push outward TO THE SIDE, NOT toward you, this will wiggle the pins free and the entire assembly will come free once the assembly is free you will see 3 plugs, the top 2 are the brake light bulbs, twist the plugs 1/4 turn and pull them out, now you can see the bulbs, just pull them out and replace them

I have to have mine replaced as well and found out it is located way behind the engine and will cost around $200 to fix because of labor....the part is only $10.

Strut to Steering Knuckle Bolt and Nut

Tie Rod Retention Nut
37 lb ft
Wheel Bearing/Hub Mounting Bolt
96 lb ft
Wheel Drive Shaft Spindle Nut
157 lb ft
