SOURCE: emission workshop

need a garage that has vag com ,the tool that talks to the computer. It most likely needs to be just reset. It is an emmisions thing that pops up to get yo to get your emmisions parts checked. Or there could be something wrong.

SOURCE: exhaust warning light on for 3 days.

Probably a O2 sensor. It is used to measure the amount of O2 through your exhaust. If it is not the O2 sensor your auto is producing too much O2 which could be bigger problems. Take it to one of your local parts supplier and ask for (free diagnose).

Before you can even attempt to correct what's wrong with the car you're going to need to obtain the trouble codes associated with the light. If you do not have access to an OBDII scanner you can take the car to most any parts store and they will check the codes for free. Then post them here and we can guide you.

Emmissions light has come on?

you need to get it scanned, i assume "emissions light" is your check engine light, or the "visit emissions workshop" message, which means, go to a shop and get it checked. The coolant disappearing means you probably have a leak. Another reason to check it,

I may want to get an OBD-2 code reader it does run scans on the emission sensors( fumes capture, evap, ehxaust recirculation....). there are too many things going on at once to really pinpoint the exact problem. I tried.
