Question about 1997 GMC Yukon
Put new plugs, wires, cap, rotor, coil, fuel pump, changed spider injectors. Did a compression check, checked fuel pressure, had it on a good snap on scanner which shows misfires on# 7 cyl
Wat was the compression? if good try doing a leak down test on that cylinder n compare to other cylinders.

Code 1351 is for the ignition control module.Ignition control circuit high. This module is on the same bracket as the coil. Before you buy a new one.Try a salvage yard and get a used one.

Hi, I recommend you pull up the fuel rail with the injectors connected and crank the engine to check the spray on the #8 injector as compared to the others. The injector may be partially clogged. If there was bad gas in your truck, you may want to just pump it out and get fresh gas. Please let me know if you have questions, and thanks for using FixYa.

SOURCE: 1997 sierra 5,7 misfire
MAY BE YOU NEED TO RESET ONLY BUT IFIT MISSES CHECK THE INJECTOR O RING SPRAY SOME STARTING FLUID IN THE INJECTOR PLACE IF OR JUST TWIST IT YOU WILL KNOW IF IT IS A VACCUM LEAK RIGHT AWAY SOME TIMES YOU HAVE TO PICK THE CONNECTOR TO MAKE GOOD CONTACT EVEN CHANGE THE INJECTOR TO ANOTER PLACE IT WILL MISS IN THE NEW POSITION IF IS BAD
