They should be under the hood in the fuse box. If not the under the dash.

SOURCE: How do you change the headlight for a 2001 chevy cavalier

i actually just did this a couple days ago, this takes about 20 minutes and a little bit of patience. When you pop your hood you will see a protective piece of plastic over the headlights/radiator, you firstly have to remove the plastic clips holding that piece then pull that piece of plastic off, once done u will see 2 bolts holding each headlight in place, i believe it is a 9/16 socket but if not just find the one that fits, remove the 4 bolts (2 for each headlight) and pull the headlight in an up and outwards manor. if you feel any resistance do not yank look at why it is catching and clear it, then it should just pop out (the headlight and the corner piece and clipped together so dont pull it too far out) then when the bulb is accessible pull the old bulb, put the new bulb in and voila place the headlight back into position, redo the 4 bolts holding the headlights and re-attach the plastic headlight/radiator cover. Enjoy the new lights

Look where your throttle cables etc are attached at throttle body, it should be at opposite end of the shaft that operates throttle plate in front of throttle body opening. Usually held on with Torx screws

Headlight bulb replacement

Surprisingly, your owners manual is one of the best sources for information on headlight replacement and taillight replacement. I learned this a few years ago myself, it's the only repair instruction they put in a automobile owners manual.

1990 cavalier stopped while driving wont crank have changed alternator, battery, and starter

Do your headlights work? When you turn your key to accessory, do you have power to your radio and heater? If so, the first thing to check would be the fuse box under your hood. Locate the "starter relay" and have it replaced or checked at your local auto parts store. Next things to check would be the starter solenoid and the ignition coil. Try cleaning the contacts and ensuring that you have good connections. This can easily be done by loosening/tightening them and/or unplugging/plugging them back in.

My 2001 chevy cavalier headlights and wipers dont work and my car would not start **** got car to start **** wipers and headlights still dont work this only happens when it rains

It sounds like you have moisture getting in somewhere. Check all of your wires to ensure they are dry, and be sure to open up and take a look at the fuse relay located in the engine compartement. You can easilly seal the fuse relay box with ordinary cloth or peices of styrofoam to help keep moisture out. Also, ensure that there is no moisture getting into your headlight assembly. If any of it appears cracked, those can easilly be sealed with ordinary rubber cement. Just don't over do it.

2001 Chevrolet Cavalier, service light came on brights indicator came on, and headlamps flickered out. Changed relay, checked headlamp switch. Where to now?

I would check the voltage at the battery while the engine is running. If over 15 volts , your voltage regulator is shot , and your headlights cooked.

If that is problem , alternator will have to be replaced.

Headlights don twork

the daytime running lamps are the high beam bulbs connected in a series which puts a lower voltage to them causing them to appear dimmer. if your low beams are not working i'd start by checking the bulbs to make sure they're not just burnt out. then check the fuses. if that doesnt work let me know and i'll help you trouble shoot it further
