go to a different dealer these are generic obd ll codes that anyone can scan and get information also if they told you that i would ask for supervisor about it because someone is b/sing p0654

Two new error codes have shown up, P1189 & C1222. The C1214 error code has been cleared but the C1233 is still showing. What do the new codes mean?

PO128 -- engine coolant low or thermostat not working
P0440 - EVAP system malfunction, gas cap loose - Cat convertors missing from car can cause this
P1189 - Engine Oil Pressure Switch Circuit -- CAT CONVERTORS MISSING FROM CAR can cause this.

I have 3 codes, p1189 ,p0128 and po442 . looking for what thay mean. 2002 alero.


p1189 is-- manufacturer control fuel air metering----- p0128 is-- coolant temp below thermostat regulating temp,--- p0442 is-- evap emission control system leak ( small ). have a good day !!

code p1626 in the book it says theft deterrent system fuel enable circuit. hope this helps
