Question about 1996 GMC Suburban
I have a 96 chevy 1500 suburban with the 5.7L and I have good spark good fuel pressure but it wont fire. Since we had the battery disconnected to replace the fuel pump it is not throwing any codes and I only have a reader and not a scanner I cant put it into a test mode to cycle everything to see what codes if any are comming up. It will fire if a starting fluid is used but wont run on its own power.
Check the catalytic converter i had the same problem with my suburban and mine was a clogged converter.
