If it cranks and will not start there are a couple of thing to check. The first is to make sure you really have a problem. Get a gas can and add fuel to the vehicle. Even if you are certain you are not out of fuel, gas gauges have been known to fail and I have had it solve what I was sure was a real problem.
In the summer, the interior of the car gets very hot if you have the windows rolled up and that will cause the fuel relay to fail. If you roll down the windows and wait awhile, I found that the car will start. If that is the case, you have a fuel relay problem. The relay is located under the dash on the driver's side and if you do a search on the internet you can find a diagram for the one that you have. It is a plug in repair, but it is a little hard to change because you have to put your head under the dash to change it.
If it will not start after the interior has cooled off, chances are it is not the relay. If the car cranks and appears to start until you let off the key and then dies, it is probably an ignition switch. An Ignition switch for your Civic can be changed out by taking apart the plastic around the steering column and by removing a couple of bolts, it is a plug-in repair.
If either of these do not fix the problem, then remove a spark plug and verify that you have a good spark. If there is no spark, the ignition module might need to be replaced.
Hope that this helps

check for spark at the spark plug wire, if theres no spark then id say the distrubutor is no good, replace disturbutor and car should run, also if coil is sperate from dist, then try a coil first, if its in dist, then replace complete unit. if you have spark at the plug then check for fuel preasure. hope this helps.

There was a recall for the 03-04 Accord radio. It had faulty circuitry that caused the screen to go dim. Check with Honda to see if they'll still honor the recall.
