SOURCE: floors in passenger and drivers front are wet 2004 cayenne

Your air conditioner water drain holes are blocked. Check the exit holes for water from the evaporator unit under the foot wells or dash unit. Through these holesor unblock these and the water will flow through to the outside

SOURCE: floor board is wet on driver side front and rear

Check the weatherstripping around the door. Also look under the dash board for signs of water leaking from the firewall. If your weatherstripping isn't damaged anywhere then make sure the liquid doesn't smell like antifreeze. If it does then you've busted the heater coil. Do not drive the car if this is the case. Your coolant will all leak into the car and it will overheat. Replacing a heater coil tend to be a huge pain in the **** and if you can pay someone else to do it by all means do. The heater coil can be bypassed by connecting the water inlet hose to the outlet hose where they go into the firewall. This is a crutch but your car will run fine until you can get the heater coil replaced. A mechanic will do the bypass for you pretty cheaply. It only takes 5 minutes.

Carpets are wet in foot wells after all the frosty weather, and not just when it rains. Any solutions?

Have you been adding any coolant? You could have a leaking heater core, which will usually leak to the inside, wetting the carpets in the well. Most American cars locate the heater core on the passenger side of the firewall, so a leak will typically show up on only the passenger side floor. I once had an Audi that had the heater core mounted just about dead center on the firewall. When it started leaking, both sides of the well(s) got wet.

Wet carpets in drivers well and back passenger well.

sounds like the heater core is leaking or you have a ac drain trank that is over flowing on your floor pop your hood look right in front on passenger firewall it will be mounted and its a valve and is hard to see so get flash light look hard its there and open valve let out all water and look under your dash on passenger side take off kick plate there is the heater fan look up see if you can see if the heater core is dripping into your car hope this helps you

Vw polo drivers side floor wet, front and back?

Do you smell a sweet odor? like from the coolant in your radiator?
Your heater core may be leaking coolant into the car.
Or your front window or door seals may be leaking.
