The high pressure and low pressure hoses are different sizes at the gear box. And the low pressure /return hose is usually rubber with a clamp at the back off the pump.

SOURCE: Vacuum diagram of Mercedes 190D, 2,2

neto 190D: You are asking about a vacuum diaphragm?
I'm going to take a WAG.. Your engine won't shut
down with the key?
If so, he is the way you find out:
In your injection pump, the vacuum diaphragm which kills the engine is the one which has the fitting pointing parallel to the ground.
The vacuum line which serves it is a brown/blue
To check the system, first check for vacuum in the line. Run the engine for a minute or so. Cap off the brown/blue line.
Turn the ignition switch off and then with hose in hand, uncap it and you should hear a hissing sound. If you have a vacuum guage, obviously, use it for the test, you need a minimum of 10 inches to kill it.
To test the pump diaphragm, you can rig a vacuum line to a known vacuum source close to the main "T". Run the engine and with the line connected to the diaphragm, connect it to the good vacuum source, if it kill the engine, the diaphragm is good. If you have a hand vacuum pump it would be more ideal, because you could check the diaphragm for small leaks.
If the diaphragm is bad, it is easy to replace on the pump.
The shutoff diaphragm lists for $86.00
Is my shot in the dark correct?
Even though I am a Nissan Master tech, I also specialize in Mercedes-Benz and specifically Diesels, so if you need help, I'm here. I went through a few Mercedes Schools and have been swinging Iron in Mercedes since the 70's
I might be a little more informative than the public library.

SOURCE: Need vacuum diagram

I can't send you a diagram but I can tell you the basics that should get you mobile. Take a vacuum line from the lower front of your carb and hook it to your distributer vacuum advance. Take another from the front of your carb and run it to your EGR valve. It should be beside the carb on the intake manifold. At the rear of your carburator there is a large line coming out. It should be steel. It provides vacuum boost to your power brakes. Hook it up. Make sure all other vacuum outlets on the carb and intake are blocked off and you should be able to get mobile.

Need a diagram for vaccum advance for a GMC truck 1981 350 engine 2bbl carb

The vacuum signal for the advance needs to come from a ported vacuum source on the carburetor, and not from manifold vacuum. Ported vacuum means little or no vacuum at idle, because the throttle plates at idle shut off the ported vacuum hole. Look for a vacuum tube coming from near the base of the carburetor.
I have no resource to find a diagram. You may need to check a repair manual that your local library might have. Or purchase a Haynes or Chilton manual for around $25. Or join a forum for older Chevy/GMC trucks; somebody there could help you, I'm sure. Good luck.

I have a 98 GMC serria 350 Vortec I had engine rebuilt. I didn't have a misfire before I had it rebuilt but now I do. I replaced ICM ,Coil , Pickup coil ,sparkplugs, sparkplug wires, cap & rotor had it...

There's a lot of things, or combination of things, that could be causing the problem but you could have valves that are adjusted just a little to tight which can cause a misfire as the engine warms up. Other things that come to mind are vacuum leaks, fuel pressure regulator leak, or an injector problem. Don't have a silver bullet for you but that's where I'd start my search. Hope this helps and good luck!

I need a spark plug wire diagram for a 1985 gmc jimmy 350 engine

Most all Chev or GMC v8 engines use the firing order of 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2. You have to find where #1 is on the distributor cap which is usually closest to #1 cylinder then looking toward the back of the engine go clock-wise to install the rest. Don't get too close to the headers. Plastic melts!

How to remove the cooling fan from the the water pump on a gmc 150 serria two wheel drive 350 engine

Depends on year modle. The older ones had 4 nuts holding them to the water pump. The newer style is a screw on fan clutch. It is right handed thread. 36mm if memory serve me right
