Re: need new headlights
Should be a black plastic ring where headlight is located under hood. Twist ring in counter clock wise position then remove bulb unplug from harness and replace bulb. This should be a halogen bulb so don't touch the glass on the bulb or it will pop eventually when it gets heated.

You need to change the flasher unit. Usually a silver squat cylinder with a 3 prong connection.
Consult your owners manual for the location of the flasher module. It is likely under the dash maybe clipped the the body / frame work there. Note that here are usually 2 of these. one for the signals and one for the hazard flashers. They are interchangable. These are only a few dollars at any auto parts store.
The headlight bulbs are inserted into the headlight housing. To remove the bulb, disconnect the wiring harness, then twist the bulb housing to remove the bulb. Insert a new bulb and install the wiring harness.
Open hood. Looking down on the engine, it is on the lower part of the engine where the transmission and engine meet.
Follow the red battery cable. It is connected to the starter solenoid / relay switch (also known as the starter switch). The solenoid is sitting on top of the starter.
How certain are you that the starter needs to be replaced? Doe sit start if you boost the battery?
Try this test:
Turn ON headlights and try to start car.
1. headlights turn OFF completely when you try to start car: means tha th e battery connections need cleaning. Remove the battery cables and clean the cable clamps and the battery posts.
2. Headlights dim really low means: The battery needs to be charged up or replaced.
3. No change in headlight brightness means: solenoid needs replacing; perhaps the starter.

hello dodge cummins owner i myself have a 98 dodge ram 1500 5.9L truck and i just recently had to rebuild my transmission. my truck would go fine in reverse but would not move in forward. when i took the trany apart i found out that the clutchs were completely gone. but in order to rebuild your trany i would sugest in getting a shop repair manual. i had purchased a shift kit for 400 dollars and it came with all the clutchs that i needed and that is much cheaper than buying a tranny or even haveing a shop work on it. the shop wanted 1500 dollars to rebuild it and to buy a new tranny it was over 2000 dollars.
