You might check the cable that runs to the air box that runs from the gas peddle to the air box. see if it is bent or something obstructing the movement of the arm on the airbox the thing that use to be a carburetor or older vehicles

We replaced the master cyclinder on a 2005 Ford Taurus self and also replaced two rear brake lines and we rebleed the brakes one minute you have brakes and the padle is hard and then the next minute when...

If you start the car ,leave it in park, push on the brake pedal very gently,
if it slowly fades, the master cyl. is bad.
If not,has to be air, just take the master cyl. cap off,and open a bleeder, let gravity do the rest(rears first) takes awhile but all the air comes out. Pumping the brakes to bleed tends to "whip"air bubbles into the system,

My car has been starting hard and sometimes dies unless I pump the gas a little when I'm cranking it

Maybe you need to change the gas filters or maybe try better gas or maybe change the fuel pump.

Is there somthing hitting the gas pedal, like the floor mat? Or maybe something under the dash came loose and is getting caught under the brake pedal and pushing on the gas. Put the shifter in neutral if you get into a situation where going to hit something or someone. The engine has a rev limiter, to prevent it from over reving.

I installed new intake monifold gaskets because the bottom one was sucking air in and my 1996 dodge intrepid 3.5 liter engine would run at 2300 RPM'S. After changing the gaskets the car is hard to start...

Take it to bits again and check the gasket you put on and all the other gaskets as it still sounds like you have air sucking and a blockage somewhere else so check out all parts you done and the parts you dident
