SOURCE: outside temp stuck on -40
when its at -40 usually its because the ambient temp sensor is not sending the proper signal to the controller.. it may just be disconnected.. the sensor it behind the grille.. it has a 2 wire connector to it ... itf its connected it may havea broken wire from body damage in an accident... its rare that the sensor fails..

Check the connector that plugs into the back of the mirror and make sure it is pushed in all the way. If that is not it, look carefully at the wires going into the connector. I had one that broke off. I had to pull the pin out of the connector and re crimp it onto the wire.

Replace the temperature sensor in front of the radiator.

Testimonial: "I ordered a new sensor. It should be 1-2 weeks. I put resistance of the old sensor place, now blows cool air.. :)"
