Question about 2009 Jeep Wrangler
The dealer has replaced my heater core 3 times and I had to take it back because it is leaking
If they have replaced it 3 times and still can't get the leak stopped
A. It not the heater core something else is leaking
B. there using a used heater core (which is my opinion is plain . . stupid)
C. the mechanic has no idea what he doing
First thing they should have done when car was brought in the 1st time was check for other leaks if it is the heater core still leaking the mechanic is installing it wrong or not geting hoses tight. the actual changing of the heater core takes only about 10 minutes and actually a easy process that anyone could do. What takes the most time is getting to the heater core because the majorly of the time the whole dash has to come out which takes hours
I would take your car somewhere else and have it fixed right and have them bill the dealership for the repairs

SOURCE: HEATER CORE REPLACEMENT!
I have a 1993 Jeep Wrangler YJ...My heater core needed replacement when I bought it about a year ago. I made the mistake of taking apart the dash to get to the heater core. DO NOT DO THIS!!! It is actually 4 screws that you must take out from the inside of the engine compartment on the firewall. Then it will come right out. Have fun!!!

SOURCE: 2000 Jeep Wrangler heater core
When I drive my 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee I can hear water. I was told to blow out the lines of the heater core with a compressor. Where is the heater core located?

They acually have an Rapid response for this. This should have been replaced before the car was even sold.

Testimonial: "Thanks. I was not made aware of the rapid response. That is good iformation for all to know. "
check the vacuum line on the right side of the engine. There should be an elbow connector connecting the line to the engine. Does interior fan only come out of the defroster vents by chance?
