If you know for a fact the injectors are not opening, you would need to check for voltage and a ground signal from the computer. The computer grounds the injectors to open them based on the crank and cam sensors.

SOURCE: Subaru Legacy 1995, will not start. Battery is

was the check engine light on? have it scanned for a code if it was. remove the timing cover just enough to peek and just make sure the timing belt isnt broken. do you smell gas coming out of the exhaust while cranking the engine for 10 seconds? if not it could be gas related. or pull one of the plug wires off a spark plug and hold it a 1/4 inch or a little less away from the engine ground (ANY METAL PART OF THE ENGINE)see if it archs while cranking for 5 seconds, if it does not arch suspect that the camm and or crank sensor is a bad. PLEASE NOTE: this information is based on what you have told me. however if you have it scanned and give me the code pulled i will be better equipped to help you. if u run the tests i gave you and come up with nothing you may have to take it to your local technician for more complex tests to be done.

No. The ignition coils most of the time when you get a misfire, are not the problem. Most of the time it is the plugs, or wires. Usually when a coil goes out then it is out. Or will quit firing when the engine is warm. Then fire again when the engine cools off. Make sure that your plug wires are all seated good. A misfire is not a huge deal. It won't hurt the engine what so ever to misfire a cylinder every once in a while. So it is very safe to drive the Rodeo to work.

Fuel pump not working

My apologies for the delayed response.
I am going back to answer - unanswered questions. I have only been on this site for the past 4-months. Questions Posted have exploded (+55%) since joining.
I do not know if you still need this information, but I am answering it either way.

The way the question is asked: "Fuel pump not working....what is the firing order" which one you really want answered. However I went with the Firing Order.

I also do not know if you have the 2.5 (4-Cyl) or the 2.8L (6-Cyl); however I have included both below:

For the 2.5L (4-Cyl):
Firing Order:
1-3-4-2
Cylinders:
(back of engine)
.........4
.........3
.........2
.........1
(front of engine)
Distributor:
...(back)
.....(+)-screw
2............1
4............3
.....(+)-screw
...(front)

For the 2.8L (6-Cyl):
Firing Order:
1-2-3-4-5-6
Cylinders:
(back of engine)
5--------6
3--------4
1--------2
(front of engine)
Distributor:
(back)
....3....4.(+)-screw
2.............5
(+)1....6
(front)

Again my sincerest apologies...

Let me know if this helped, or if you have additional information or questions. Feel Free to contact me at FixYa.com!

I have a miss fire

Recheck the firing order; 1-6-5-4-3-2

On the distributor passenger side radiator to fire wall. 2-4-6-coil
On the distributor drivers side radiator to fire wall. 3-1-5

Cylinder passenger side radiator to fire wall. 2-4-6
Cylinder drivers side radiator to fire wall. 1-3-5

Good luck and also check the distributor cap again for proper seating.

Put new plug wires on my eclipse now it runs crappy

You may have your plug wires in the wrong order.
The firing order is 1-3-4-2 om cpounter-clockwise rotation. Look at the digram below. Notice the shaded blue is cylinder 1. From there, make sure 3 is the next wire, then 4 and finally 2.

Problem with fireing order on suzuki 1.3 w/coils pack

cannot be specific, had a 98 (now a 99). remember they fire twice- compression and exhaust. if you don't get and answer soon, look up firing order and everyother one should fire together, limiting combinations to two. It doesn't care what stroke it is on
