1998 Chrysler voyager van water leaking form heater core. once water is added in to radiator makes no difference using antifreeze

As long as the coolant is full, You won't have problems with heat. Check the rest of the system for leaks. Can't find a leak and still gets low. 2 possibilities. Heater core is leaking or head gasket is leaking. I would lean towards the heater core because of the water inside.

My heater costantly blows cold

if your heater constantly blows cold then there is a problem with water circulation I:e the heater has a small radiator like your engine has a large radiator the small heater radiator is called a matrix instead of just cooling the water passing through it like the radiator for your engine it is designed to give heat via a fan that blows through it so when it fills with hot water from the engine bay the blower fan blows through it thus giving heat inside the car if it is blowing cold then there is no water getting to it or the water is low in engine bay or there is a blockage even possibly a leak or quite simply the switch that controls the flaps to give you hot or cold air is stuck in the cold position with out more info and me asking more questions this is the basic idea of how it works
hope this helps

The heater isnt working.. theres no water going through the heater to bring hot air through i only get cold and freezing cold, pulled the hoses off to clear any blockages form the pipes and there's...

hi make sure there is def enough water in the cooling system as a leaking hose or split radiator hose can leak water out so it cant pump around. Second make sure your thermostat is working, and last it all else fails check your water pump isnt getting worn

Overheating leaking water profusly especially when you turn it off. Leaking somewhere behind the motor, also passenger side heat is blowing cold air

With the location of the water leak and the cold air, it sounds as if the heater core is leaking or one of the heater hoses going to or from the core has a hole in it. The heater core is on the passenger side of the vehicle, inside, against the firewall. Is the carpet wet underneath on that side?

It sounds like you have a busted heater core hose. The only solution is to pin point the leak and replace the hose that's leaking. There are usually two heater core hoses coming out of the firewall on the passenger side of the vehicle. Examine both of them carefully for a blowout. Many times when a hose goes bad or is getting ready to go bad, it will have some swelling or deformation around the end of it. I hope this helps.

88 bronco II, heater hose going to water is cold, and my heater blows cold air, is my water pump going bad? the return heater hose is warm, it was heating once in awhile now it don't heat at all just cold...

I would try flushing heater core to see if it's plugged. I don't think it's waterpump, your rig would be overheating if it was. Leaking is most common waterpump failure.

05 jeep cherokee is leaking antifreeze. the car was making a clanking sounds for a few days, that noise has now stopped and it is now over heating and leaking fluid. the heater is also now switching...

It could be the water pump, the air switches from hot to cold because the heater core is the highest point in the cooling system so as you run low on water you lose heat, if the water pump has siezed you are in danger of losing the serpentine belt, so don't wait to get it fixed.

Leaking water

this sounds like a leaking heater core. It can be difficult to fix if your not experienced for it can be in a tight area. The trick is to be patient and get ready to work in a tight area. Is the water warm or cold? This can also be condensation from the air conditioner. If cold it is a hose that has come loose. If warm, most likely the heater core. Check with your local parts store for price of new one and you might compare to what a repair shop would charge. It can take a while and be frustrating.
