When your starter just clicks its a sign of a dead battery usually ,, When a starter just clicks theres not enough volts to turnit over.. ,, Possible causes are dead battery, altenator not fully charging. bad terminals. or a bad ground wire.. did you try and charge the battery up to full and try it.. another problem can be the starter it self bindinginside.. id try and charge battery fully and try and start it.. PCM has nothiing to do with it.

SOURCE: veh wont start

by looking at the wiring diagram for your truck. the pcm1 fuse only feeds the pcm so most likely it is a grounded wire between the fuse block and pcm. follow the wire harness closely between the two and see if its grounded somewhere. also try disconnecting the pcm and see if the fuse still blows. that would isolate the problem to the wiring. it is highly unlikely that the pcm would cause the problem.

SOURCE: 1992 vette wont start for about 20 minutes

I have seen this alot on the 90 ish vettes and it is going to be something to do with the security. When you have time I would just take it to the dealership so they can scan it and find out which part is bad and loosing memory.

After shifting into overdrive you press accel to the floor and it won`t go...just bogs...you stop and start again it does fine till it hits overdrive.

Hello
The Engine and Automatic Transmission (not applicable to manual transmissions) in this vehicles drive train are fully electronically controlled by a computer called the PCM and TCM (Power Train Control Module, Transmission Control Module). When a problem like this or other drive-ability related problems occurs the computer stores a record of the problem (there are of course some exceptions to this, like the fuel pump, engine coolant temperature sensor and MAF sensor for instance) in the form of a fault code in its memory, to read these fault codes you must have the systems memory scanned with a special tool. Once the fault code(s) are read you then must perform the appropriate diagnostic testing to find and resolve the problem(s) DO NOT REPLACE ANY PARTS UNTIL A TRAINED TECHNICAIN HAS DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM TO AVOID SPENDING YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ON PARTS THAT MAY NOT CORRECT THE PROBLEM. Also always check fuel pressure for correct spec for your make and engine type.

Engine light came on it gave me two code po307 and po316 what does this mean. thanks

1. Before any diagnostics, refer to TSB 06-20-10 from Ford for updated power train control module calibration. In most cases, if the engine runs fine, P0316 code is in memory, this reflash will fix concern. If this doesn't fix it you will need a new PCM.

The p0307 is of the same concern and if the reflash doesn't fix it you will need a new PCM.

Show me a picture of a fan module.

i'm not sure what you are referring to but the pcm-(power train control module) controls the operation of the fan motors through relays in the fuse distribution center. engine coolant sensor and the ac pressure sensors feed info to the pcm and the pcm turns on low speed or high speed relay which makes the fans operate at correct times and speeds.

p0606 refers to the computer (pcm). unfortunately there is little to do without the proper test equipment when the pcm (power train control module) fails. it is possible that something caused the p0606 code to set other than the computer being faulty, i.e. wires broken; voltage incorrect etc. but this will have to be sorted out by a trained tech. read the information from this link to gain further understanding.
