SOURCE: 2003 ford explorer battery light on

Are you sure the alternator isnt "over" charging? if not, you may have a "loose" connection somewhere with the cables, or a malfunction in the dash cluster. Also, are you positive the battery is forsure good?

This is where at home diagnosis and in-shop diagnosis diverge. A shop will begin by checking that bank for an over rich or lean condition, then moving closer to finding the problem which for example could be an injector with a bad spray pattern or leak, or a minor vacuum leak somewhere .(too many other items to mention) You can do further testing with the use of a manual and a decent digital volt-ohm meter. It takes more time and isn't always as productive but most times with a bit of research and learning on your part the problem can be found. Unless I made a lucky guess, I could spend all day writing down ideas and would not be correct.

Turn the dimmer switch for the dash lights down. When turned all the way past bright that turns o the dome lights. This is the most common cause of this.

2003 ford explorer xlt battery good but engine will not turn over

Keep in mind that the engine takes a lot more Amps to turn then it takes to light lights and open windows.
If it is as cold outside by you as it is here, a weak battery may not turn over an engine even with lights lighting and windows opening. First thing... clean connections at the battery

2003 ford explorer driver side door opens and closes by itself and interior lights stay on while driving

The opening and closing by itself is either the door being out of alignment or the Door pin being worn and in need of replacement. As far as the interior lights staying on, look for the brightness control for the dashboard lights. If that is turned all the way to the brightest setting there is a position just past that which turns the interior lights on continuous. Make sure it is not in that position. If it is not in that position and the lights are staying on with all doors closed, to include the rears, and you have checked the switch on the dome light itself to make sure it isn't set to ON, then the problem is a switch in one of the door jams being grounded or a wire was tapped into the power circuit for the dome light that has grounded. This happens when the LoJack installer or Alarm installer makes the mistake of tapping the light circuit for power.

1998 Ford Explorer. Headlights will not turn on. They will also not come on when switched to highbeams, however when holding the switch the opposite way to "flash" my brights, the brights will...

first of all i would check the fuses for the head lights. if they are good i would ask is the switch for the head lights on the turn signal? if so, your turn signal switch is most likely the cause of the problem. if the light switch is separate from the turn signal you most likely have a head light switch that is not operating properly.

What is blinking red light on top of dash board by wind shield and what is green light on rear view mirror for

The Green one on the rearview sounds like an autodimmer. (tints the rearview mirror from bright headlights behind you) & the Red one on the dash could be an alarm warning light
