Question about 2003 Chevrolet Suburban 1500
I drove my 2003 Chevy Suburban yesterday & I heard a noise coming from the back end. At the time it was in automatic 4 wheel drive, so I put it in 2 wheel drive. This morning upon starting my vehicle a message said service 4 wheel drive.
This year model has had problems with the "Encoder Motor" Its is a bolt on unit around 300 dollars if you do it yourself. I would just leave it in 2WD for now.
