HI..
On a problem with oil pressure sensor leaking.
99% you need to replace the sensor with a new one.
Because if you can see the leak is not for the tread or gasket of the sensor.
If you can disconnect the the wire from the sensor.
and try to start you will see the leak coming from inside on the plastic, where the pins. of the sensor.
OK.. I hope this information work for you.
I work on Cars everyday.
Thank you fo use fixya.
SOURCE: oil light, noisy engine
What type of noise does it make. check if it has "blowby" . Blowby is when there is air coming through to the fuel system. It means that the rings , bearings , and other critical components are bad.The engine needs a complete overhaul or a new engine block. Maybe even the heads. if's it's a ticking, clicking kind of noise it is the valve lifters or rocker arm problem.such as the valves.

SOURCE: OIL PRESSURE WARNING LIGHT STAYS ON IN 2001
The oil pressure switch is a short circuit when there is low oil pressure. Removing the wire from it should turn off the warning light. If it doesn't, the chances are there is a short circuit between the lamp and the sensor.
