Hi James Carmichael, I want to help you with your question, but I need more information from you. Can you please add details in the comment box?
Can you tell me what you have done to it to repair this problem. Also when she is idling can yo go to the exhaust and tell me if there is a misfire that is far apart. Thanks

I agree with Jerry Ross, at the same time you could have one weak wire or a bad cap. Once you take off the motor is no longer under a load so any intermittent misfire will come out of nowhere. Cap, plugs wires. Or a bad engine ground, I would start at the cap and clean it or replace it if it is badly burned. Wires ground them out one at a time if you have a bad the spark will ground out.

Have you checked your fuel pump pressure. this is a throttle body. Have you tested your injectors. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JackfakH...

Have 97 gmc suburban. Has a jerk to it when I'm crusein on highway and from time to time seems as if im hitting a bunch of little bumps an it boggs down. I let off gas it stops what could this b?

Could be the fuel filter. Watch the speed it happens. IE.. Ok at 50 MPH, hit 60 MPH it starts jerking. Clogged filers will give the pressure need, just not the volume of fuel need at higher speeds.

You could have a misfire ! ignition system problem . Is the vehicles check engine light on steady of flashing ? I suggest you take it an have it checked out . If it gets bad enough it could damage the catalytic converter , an that could cost up to a thousand bucks !

Why does my 2007 Chrysler 300 start to **** when accelerating around 60 mph and when I take my foot off the gas pedal? No brake was applied.

you need to check you plugs and wires on the car also looking into changing your fuel filter may be a great idea , just a normal tune-up on the car would help this out dramatically

Backfire at 60 to 70 mph

Check for bad fuel, but it sounds like it might be spark plugs or spark plug wires breaking down and cross firing or missing. If it is electrical you should have a rougher idle also.

I have a 2006 Hyundai Matrix 1.6 GSI petrol. Automatic. When cruising at 4o mph it starts jerking and seems like it has a problem selecting the right gear. Also at around 60 mph it jerks when I accelerate.

My experience with Hyundai vehicles strongly suggests you have a bad TPS (Throttle Position Sensor). Replace it... see if that CURES it. (OR, you can have a qualified technician bench test it to see if it is defective). Your solution.
