Question about Cars & Trucks
Driving between 110 - 130 and for about 5 minutes (possibly with a short break in between) there was a beeping sound, it was not the radio. The sound was an alarm sound but no message appeared. The day before that the car wouldn't start (sounded like it was about to turn on, but that went on for a few seconds and then stopped, it started on attempt #5 - possibly related to subject of this post). Otherwise the car runs great :) Any insight is appreciated. Best Regards, Max

you have a problem with your starter solenoid. the contacts are worn out and needs to be replaced.
it is at the side of the starter. it is where the big wire from the battery is connected.

SOURCE: Alarm going off all the time.
Too many possible causes for this. Take it into the dealership and have it properly diagnosed. Sounds to me to be a BCM problem (body control module).
