U might have some kind of debris stuck in the heater motor.

squeeze the hoses to get any air bubbles out and refill coolant as necesary. are you sure you put thermostat in the right way? may be backwards. also may be your sensor.

guys have you checked for a vaccum leak????? there is a little plastic ball with a vaccum line going to it that controls the outside air coming in. check for a leak in this line

That is usually the first symptom of low coolant. Not enough water in the system to circulate through the heater core. Has it been running hot?

Check the coolant level in the radiator

you will need to replace the air temperature control blend door actuator. go to the link for heater core instructions, they are the same for 95-97 for the blend door except u of course are not replacing the heater core, but the same access to the internal parts of the dash are required for both parts.

Assuming that none of the Electrical/Electronic controls were disturbed when changing the Thermostat it seems to me that you have an "Air Lock" within the heater. One must purge all the air out of the cooling system as close to the highest point as possible after the system has been partially or fully drained. Most of the time one will find small BRASS Bleeder Valves located somewhere near the highest point. Open each one while the system is pressurized and let Air escape until some Coolant escapes. Sometimes it may be necessary to loosen a Heater Hose and bleed the air at that point. Remember that the system MUST BE PRESSURIZED to accomplish the Bleeding of Air. Many auto parts stores sell hand pumps with a pressure gauge for this purpose and leak testing. These pumps typically replace the Radiator Pressure Cap temporarily. The system does not have to be at normal operating temperature to bleed the air out. Once the Air has been bled you will have to refill the radiator to normal full and make sure that the Coolant Recovery Tank level is also brought up to recommended level. A quick check is to remove the Radiator Pressure Cap, Start the Engine, Rev the engine suddenly (A short Jab) and see if the coolant level falls rapidly in the radiator. If it does it is definitely an AIR LOCK situation.

Heater does not come on for a few minutes on purpose. The system waits until engine coolant is warm so fan not blowing cold air on you. The ticking can be the heater waiting to get turned on (air door closed) if sound seems to be coming from dash. System should work right away if you use A/C though.

The heater stop working a couple days after i added a radiator cleaner and the heater stop blowing warm air today, is there a fues to replace or did the heater valve get clogged


If the fan wont blow air at all then it is a fuse. If the fan works and the car is warm you have a clog somewhere. you could try pulling a heater hose off when the car is cold to check for flow.

ok so the heater draws heat from the engine and if the engine dose not heat up anuff it will only blow cold air the reason the engine may not be getting worm is because the thermostat may be stuck open

I can't get my defroster/ heater to blow hot air, The pannel won't switch the valve or something.


Look under the hood and locate the valve connected to a heater hose close to the firewall and see if you can manually move it with pliers. If you can't replace it. Hope this helps.

Air works fine ice cold but the heater dont it blows but no heat


does the car over heat if it does it is a thermostat bad if not check your heater control valve if thats ood your heater core is bad

change thermostat its more than likely stuck open or you have plugged heater core, good luck

The heater blows cool air


Most heater core control valves are cable operated. A few are vacuum operated. Hot water is not getting into heater core. Valve has to be troubleshot. Less likely is plugged hose lines to heater. If you intend to DIY please get a repair manual at autoparts store. Good luck!
