The crankshaft position sensor is located on the lower right side if the engine block,to the rear of the timing cover.

crankshaft position sensor is bad. it uses this sensor to tell the computer when to make each plug fire. no signal no fire.

Other than a fuel leak, the most likely cause is the filter pad in the charcoal evaporative canister, which is usually located in front of the engine near the radiator.

We have a 1997 f150 that just stoppped going around the corner. we replaced the crankshaft sensor and checked all connections and the fuel pump has low voltage


run anounther power to the pump then check it if voltage is still low then replace the pump she should fire right up hope this helps

Yes there is a crankshaft position sensor on this truck. I had the same issue with my 96. I changed the ICM, crankshaft sensor, and the coil. Then I found out the distributor was defective. I recommend replacing the distributor with a new one and that will correct your issue.
