Sounds like a failure of the engine coolant temperature sensor, which is a known weakness on the B5 chassis Audi A4 (model years 96-01). The sensor is relatively inexpensive ($20-30) and if you call up ECS Tuning (www.ecstuning.com) or Pure Motorsports (www.purems.com) with your VIN number, they can send you the correct sensor (there are three types, identified by color of the connector - black, blue, or green). Changing it is somewhat of a pain due to its location, but it can be done in 30-40 minutes. You have the 12 valve 2.8 V6 - take a look at www.audidiy.com and www.12v.org (two dedicated Audi sites) - there are a ton of tech procedures on those sites, and you'll likely find what you need there - a detailed, step by step, photo-referenced procedure on how to change the sensor.

The crank shaft position sensor is to tell the cpu when to allow spark at the right time. IT normally works or it doesn't. Lack of take power for take off can be associated with low fuel pressure for the injectors and MAF/MAF sensor faults.. have a pressure test done on the fuel system to check for regulator failure.

P0235 Turbocharger Supercharger Boost Sensor Circuit Malfunction

I would say the EGR Valve is faulty- stuck open. I think the second code ( P0235) is being generated due to the EGR problem.

Please note that this is a CIRCUIT code. This means that the electrical circuit for your boost control is not operating within its designed "window of operation". The circuit must be properly diagnosed to determine the actual CAUSE of this code setting.

P0029 - Exhaust Valve Control Solenoid Circuit Range/Performance Bank 2
Causes:
- Dirty engine oil
- Low engine oil level
- Exhaust valve control solenoid circuit open or shorted
- Exhaust valve control solenoid circuit poor electrical connection
- Faulty exhaust valve control solenoid

Solutions:
- Change oil
- Replace exhaust valve control solenoid

P0047 - Turbocharger/Supercharger Boost Control A Circuit Low
This vehicle is not equipped with a turbocharger or supercharger if it is a 1994.

P0137 - o2 Sensor Circuit Low Voltage Bank 1 Sensor 2
Causes:
- Sensor circuit harness or connectors is open or shorted
- Rear heated oxygen sensor Bank 1 may be faulty
- Fuel pressure may be faulty
- Fuel injector may be faulty
- Intake air leaks

Solution:
Replacing the O2 Sensor 2 usually takes care of the problem.

P0107 - Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit Low Input
Causes:
- Damage harness or connectors
- MAP sensor circuit is open or shorted
- MAP sensor
- Damaged PCM or ECM

Solutions:
- If damage, repair MAP sensor harness or connector
- Replace MAP sensor
- Replace PCM or ECM

    P0236 Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit ange/Performance and P0237 Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low. I would check to ensure your Sensor is didnt come unplugged and if not I would replace the Boost Sensor. Thanks for Using FixYa!
