SOURCE: wanting to change oil pump

You have to remove the oil pan (drain the oil first, of course), the pump is in the deepest part of the pan, usually held to the block with two bolts. If you don't have a frame member under the shallow part of the pan, it is generally pretty easy to replace. Don't lose the shaft that drives the pump, sometimes that is a separate piece. Reuse the pick-up tube with the screen on the bottom (unless it is damaged, then replace it too, but that is unlikely).

Before you do this, you might want to run a compression check on the motor to make sure that you don't need to do a full rebuild. Usually the oil pump lasts as long as the rings and bearings. If you still have good compression, then when you have the oil pan off, you might want to pull one of the rod bearing caps off and check the condition and clearance of them.

If you have a frame member under the shallow part of the pan, you might need to unbolt the engine mounts and lift the engine a bit to be able to get the pan out.

SOURCE: I need to clear out some leaves that have got stuck in the fan motor for the Aircon in my 2005 Toyota Land Cruiser Amazon?

Sorry, no photos or step by step. But the blower motor is usually quite easy to remove-just 3 screws hold it in place. Unplug the connector, remove holding screws, and pull out the motor with the roller drum (fan) attached. Then you will be able to see the problem. Good luck.

Blower resistor pack is probably bad. This pack is what gives you various speeds for the fan.

My heater blower not working on my range rover 2003 any ideas anyone

Check for 12 volt at the blower motor, if it's there, once you turn your blower and ignition on and motor doesn't work, you have a bad motor. If it's not there, check your fuses, blower switch and blower resistor pack.

2000 Land Rover Discovery Blower motor resistor location and removal

Do you already have access to your blower motor? If so you should find the resistor on the motor housing where the blower output is located. It will have wiring plugged into it. When you remove it it should look like a heatsink.

My blower motor is not comming on at all even after i replaced it i have p38 1998 .

Have you checked your blower motor resistor and the common reason that the motor or resistor fails is due to a clogged cabin air filter. Hope this helps !

Blower stopped working on 1998 ford galaxy, ran wires to blower direct and works!Could it be resistor or ellectronic control unit, how could i check?

check for voltage at the blower motor on all settings. if no voltage check the blower motor resistor or relay. if it has a resistor it will be right beside the blower motor, if it has a relay it will be the relay on the firewall under the hood.it will probably have a purple, orange, blue, and black wires. as you said it works directly.it can be resistor or relay.the blower is fine. thanks.
