P0 means a federal code, (a standard)
is car usa car?
reset it , see if it comes back. (all OBD2 reset 4 ways)
you never once said engine runs perfectly and drives same.
be like super important that fact , no?

j20b engine, is my guess...

map sensor volts too low.

causes: many;
Engine rpm went way low, stalled or back fired and set this code.?
on ours the low voltage is at 30" of vacuum. huge.
wide open throttle is max voltage.
key on is zero vacuum near same as WOT.
some maps have a hose, that can clog or crack
some have only a hole and port, that can clog.
the map wires can fall off
what we do is reset it and see if this error returns, and for sure inspect it, with eyes, (wires and the port)
the EGR can fail, and cause huge vacuum drop
800 rpm, is normal but 400 or less or stall from this device failing
might cause a gross map error.
but usually our suzuki only do this with the wires off
or someone pulled the MAP connector with key on, and set a false code.

SOURCE: 2005 suzuki reno, how do you reset check engine

leave the battery disconnected for a while, 20 min to make sure it resets the computer. If the light is still on then there in an ongoing fault that is getting tripped and turning on the check engine light. Go to an autozone or local autoparts store, they will check it and erase it for you for free.....OBDII scanners aren't cheap.

SOURCE: 07 suzuki reno engine light is on,what does that

The " check engine light" is also known as a malfunction indicator light (MIL). You can disconnect the battery red lead for about 5 min and it will reset. However, if there is a hard fault, it will come back on.

Pull the codes from the computer using an OBD (II) code reader. Match the code to the troubleshooting procedure, follow the procedure to find the source of the fault. After you have repaired the fault, the light will go out if that was the only problem. There are "monitors" or self tests the computer runs the car through a drive cycle, if a problem occurs, it may not run all of the self tests until that problem is taken care. Therefore, another problem may exist.

Hi I'm anthony I have a 2005 suzuki reno I think it's a grate car so I'd like to beef it up with a bigger motor what engine do u think would be best fitting for low budget rebuild?

I would put a 5.7 litre V8 Shelby Mustang engine into it. It would make it fly! Trouble is there would be nowhere for you to sit! This is a joke right :>) You can't put any other engine into that tiny car other than the one that came with it!

The only thing you can do is buy some performance pats for it, perhaps even go faster vinyl stripes.

One of two things. Check the fuses. If not that, check the switch for low and high beams. Can not be the bulbs, but if a short is present, it could be also.

Your engine's computer has detected a problem with it's engine management controls. The work you had done should have nothing to do with it.
Until you have the computer scanned (with an OBD2 scanner-Autozone will do it for free), you won't know what the check engine light is for. The scan will provide trouble codes for a technician to fix the problem. If it's a simple problem, you may be able to do it yourself. But only the code or codes will tell you why the light is on.
    Good luck.
