Question about 2003 Volkswagen Jetta TDI
I installed a new radio it will not alow me to enter the security code what do i do to be able to enter the code
You need to git vin # from car to get the radio code, i ended up putting a aftermarket radio in instead, alot less headache, also they sell a wire harness to adapt to it,easy as plug n go, real simple

SOURCE: change my 2003 VW jetta battery
a lot of the vw cars don't have coded radios but in the case that you do loose it call your local dealership and have your chassis number and number plate and they should give it to you over the phone....but i dont think it will come to that..goodluck

The radio is in Lock-Out mode. You only get two attempts to enter the code, then it enters Lock-Out mode.
Put the key in ignition and turn on the radio for an hour (maybe a bit more). The radio should reset itself after about an hour and then you can re enter the code.
