SOURCE: Hi, I have a 1991 Suzuki JLX Vitara with the Front Right hub is locked into 4WD and I can seem to unlock it and the gearbox of late feels notchy, sometimes difficult to change into gear

spray with wd40 then put mole or vice grips on flat edge where finger & thumb would normaly go gently as its cast alloy get someone to move car backwards & fowards a few inches IE rock back & forward as you try to move the diff lock but make sure both front wheels are in the straight ahead position put in 4w high or 4w low put screew driver in between mole or vice grip prise very gently should move I had to do this on mine as normaly indicates that its not been used in a while then drive gental every now & then with both diff lockes engaged to keep them free dont go far with them locked on dry roads as hand book describes use em or loose em! use in snow ice wet slippery muddy surfaces remember switch em off when back on dry roads.

SOURCE: I have Suzuki Grand Vitara 2007 ESP lamp is on

The problem is that the ESP system is not active.
The ESP lamp normally is on for a few seconds after strating the engine - but must dissapear after a couple of seconds.

The failure is not critical but has to be repaired. Normally the failure is related to a defective ESP-controle box.
Be prepared - repair is expensive !!!!

SOURCE: i have a suzuki 2007

You need to remove the radio/cd player from the dashboard and open the CD player to get the CD out.
You can remove the whole front panel. 6 screws at each side underneath the alu xxxxx must be removed. After this the whole panel can be mover forward and the connectors on the backside can be disconnected. Now you are ready for opening the radio/cd player. tahe of the top cover and remove the cd

My suzuki escudo 2001 v6 auto stuck in neutral after disengaging from 4wd how do I get back into 2wd

we dont have Escudos but we do have the V6
H25 and H27 V6s
you are using part time 3 wheel drive on dry pavement
this was wrong, to do.
set the hand brake
then put the A/t box in neutral. (operators guide tells you how, here in USA we key on, step on brake and shift PRNDL to N.
then shift to 2H, if it balks move the car a tad by hand, push it.
brakes of, flat ground, if on slop, let car roll 1 foot.
the set brake and do above.
next time save 4wd for ice, snow or dirt.
it is nOT full time 4wd, (well unless it is, no photo dash)
full time looks like this.

full time started in 2004 as and options.
so you dont that
if you had full time , you still can not use lock mode on pavement free of ice.

Jimny suzuki not engaging, seems neutral always. What seems to be the problem?

welcome to usa forum, we dont have Jimny here.
but car is kind simular to a vitara.
no year stated, so that makes real accurate answers impossible.
no transmission stated. or engine size

is it a stick or auto trans?
is car 2wd or 4wd?

is the lever stuck in nutural.?
or is the lever working right but the transmission fails in all gears and reverse.
mine has stick and 5 speeds, and reverse so has 6 gears to try.
If an automatic? trans. check the levels. per the operators guide do not guess.
and change its filter, if never done.
if automatic, make sure the lever moves its cable and the other end of cable is still attached to the trans lever. on the box.
they both move same amount, (cable drive does that)
if not the cable is bad, or bits there.

"My suzuki 99 trailed off as if missing and crank got stuck and came back to take crank and changes are stuck and can not put it into neutral if someone can tell me the problem please and thank you"

Ok, i cant decode that,...
why not state symptoms..?
is this an engine problem. (crank stuck)
or is it a transmission problem cant shift?

1999 suzuki what? what car model. Vitara, Nomad.
what? car , located in what country? cars vary by , country.
what size engine,?
what transmission stick or auto.?
2wd or 4wd?

i think the post means.
engine stalls?
then will not start? (take crank?)
( but transmission is stuck in GEAR ,what gear? name it?)

I have a Suzuki 2L diesel 2004 Grand Vitara and recently the 4x4 does not disengage even though i have put the lever back down to 2. Eventually after a few hundred metres it disengages back to 2 wheel...

hello and greetings. you did not say what driveline options
were purchase when car was new. so, can not answer.
but if car is PT 4wd, I can. if not get it fixed, by any 4wd shop.

the car is full time 4wd or AWD ?
the Part time 4wd must not be driving on dry pavement.
so drive to dirt or grass or ice and then shift back to 2wd

there is a TSB from Suzuki on wind up.

sure , the 2004 options statement here. and the rules for PT 4wd.

Suzuki Grand Vitara/Escudo -full-time 4WD using limited-slip center differential, off-road 4WD with selectable center differential lock and low range transfer case 4 mode (4h, 4h lock, 4l n), traction control and electronic stability control
Suzuki offered as an option AWD for Grand Vitara's in 2004 (XL7 too) Some Suzuki AWD you can not use lock on dry pavement, so read the operators guide carefully.

suzuki sells the operators guide if lost,
$4 day pass
$25 for full pdf.
