Does this noise happen when the vehicle is parked and you rev the engine? If not, I would still say it's a sticky speedometer cable. When you are driving, have someone listen carefully. Cold driving is best. I owned a 2000 blazer and the noise got so bad, it drove me nuts. Let me know how you make out

From the information you provided, It doesn't sound like anything to do with the work you had done. If the noise sounds like it's coming from behind the dash, it may be a sticky speedometer cable, gets worse in colder weather? Or a loose screw in the dash itself. Check the ashtray for loose change rattling etc, that can get you sometimes ha ha Hope this helps

SOURCE: lower intake manifold gasket leaking 02 Olds Silhouette

This is basicly a very time consuming job rather than a physically hard one to complete. In order to replace the gasket you must remove the intake plenum, throttle body, and misc. vacuum hoses. The wiring harness connections must also be disconnected. Finally the intake manifold is exposed. The bolts holding the manifold to the block are removed exposing the leaking gasket. After removing the push rods and placing them in the correct order to be replaced the gasket and sealants can be removed. Finally replace everything in reverse order. Be sure to consult a GM manual for correct bolt torch specs. The correct specs for the manifold bolts usually come with the gasket. Make sure to change your oil a few times after this job in case any coolant entered the block. Also, change the thermostat and the oil seal on the distributor half shaft cap while you have everything off. Good Luck

I have a 1998 Chevy blazer for about 3 weeks now, out of nowhere there is a clicking sound (like the blinker is on) while I'm driving, but when my foot is on the break it stops. PLEASE !! does Anyone know...

I know this sounds really stupid but push the reset button on the tripometer on the gauge cluster I had the same problem and it took me about 2 weeks to figure it out and about1 1/2 seconds to fix I just pushed the button and the noise was gone.

Strange raddling noise from front passenger side

if the noise only happens when the vehicle is in motion...check the front suspension. place the jack under lower control arm ,then get a bar and lift up on the tire..ball joint issues are well known in blazers and cause this condition. if it does the rattle noise when its idling and to op temp--could be the cat converter causing the noise on pass side directly under passenger seat. when cold, smack the cat with rubber mallet and if any rattle is present, cat should be replaced so it dont cause further damage .hope that was helpful !!

Sounds Like you lost the front pump in the trans. Onley way to confirm is by checking chking the pressures at the trans. If you have the gauges you can probably do this yourself although a trans shop is recommended.
