Heated seats not working

Hi Jkelley, I'm glad to help!

After over 40 years in this business I've found that most, and I say most of the time when heated seats quit working its almost always the heated seat elements that go bad. J look and see if the switches light up when you turn the heated seats on. If they do that's is where I would start. If you remove the heated seat pad and its burnt then you know for sure that's the problem. Hope this helps and have an awesome day Jkelley.

Heated seats does not work switch light is on, but no heat

Its generally the heating pad itself, located inside the seat. Quite often they burn out and melt the element. They have a coil of light gage wire routed thru a pad that is adhered to the seat in between cushion and cover. The wire breaks or heats up to where it opens the circuit and quits working. The light indicator is a separate circuit that just indicates to the driver the heated seats have been requested. t would be best to take to a dealer or maybe check out an upholstery shop for an estimate.

My power seat stopped working in my 2003 Yukon XL. The heated seats stopped working as well.

Try this remove the ckt breaker for the power seats the ckt breaker is located in the fuse box inside down by the drivers left foot. leave breaker out for about 10 seconds then reinstall it and see if the seat starts moving. If it does there is a reprogram for this and needs to be done by a dealer or someone who has access to be able to reprogram your vech.
several things could cause your heated seats to not work. If the seat and heated seat seat stopped at the same time could be the reprogram could fix it. If the heated seat quit working at a differant time it could be the seat heater element. get a schematic of the heated seat and ohm the wires for the element. If either element tests open then the element will need to be replaced. You might as well replace both of them at the same time since the seat covers have to come off to replace the seat heaters.(back and bottom ) If one element is bad then both heaters quit working.

Heated and cooled seats quit working. won't work on either driver's or passanger's seats. checked the fuses and relays and they are all ok. what's wrong?

Remove fuses 10 and 11 in the underhood junction box. Leave out for 5 minutes then reinstall. If the seats start working your Zephyrs dual climate control seat module will need replaced.
