When you turn on switch u should hear fuel pump kick on for few seconds if no sound check for power at connection that connects to sending unit. you have to have someone turn switch to see if light tester lights up for first 2 to 3 seconds. If you have power to that point problems in a bad fuel pump.

Best do a fuel pressure test. Should have chg. fuel filter from the get go. The only other filter is on the end of the fuel pump in tank. Bad gas and dirty gas will plug up fuel filter, hense burn pump up.

How to fix a1998 buick century to start fuel filter new and airfilter turning over but not starting gets gas

Did you check for spark? It sounds like you're not getting spark. Check for spark. If you are not getting spark then it sounds like you might have to replace the coil packs. Is it running a L4 engine? If its running a standard chevy L4 its probably the coil packs. Try to replace them check again for spark.

Car ran fine drove it twenty min went to start it again wouldnt start went back an hour later started right up drove it 15 min and it died again changed the plugs and fuel filter still wont start

This sounds more like a crankshaft position sensor. When they start going bad they will work when vehicle relatively cold but fail when hot.

Hope this helps, it it does please leave feedback and vote Thank You and Good Luck

No it doesn't have fuel. What test did you do.? The fuel filter is dirty or the fuel pump is mechanically bound once in awhile.
