Question about 1999 Plymouth Voyager

Open Question

99 Plymouth Voyager - Shaft broke on reclining seat handle.

My passenger yesterday slid out of the seat and hooked themselves on the handle. I removed the plastic trim around the seat and seen that the shaft had snapped flush against the reclining mechanism. I tried searching on eBay but I could only find a replacement handle (will not work in my situation) or a full seat. The seat is in great shape so is there a way to possibly buy a new reclining arm and swap it out? If so what is the proper name for it? I'm not one of those girls that like to refer to parts as "thingies" lmao -Please let me know and NO I don't want to take it to a professional. I really love doing things myself :P

SOURCE: My 1997 Plymouth Voyager won't

When it doen'st start, you will need to check for spark, fuel. If it doesn't have one of these, you will need to start tapping the relay related to starter, and fuel pump. The best way to determine which ones they are is to get a manual, but another way is to place your hands on the relays that you think maybe related and have someone turn the key on. The correct relay will click. Now, you will need to see if the same relays are clicking during the no-start. If any of them fails to click, tap them with a screw driver. If it starts then, replace the relay. It maybe interfering with the radio since this is an electrical event.

Back tilt is a manual round knob on drivers seat it just turns

It sounds like the inside of the recliner knob is stripped out. If you go to your local GM dealership and give them your VIN number they can order you a new one. Here is the removal and installation directions.
Driver or Passenger Seat Recliner Handle Replacement Removal Procedure
  1. Use a flat-bladed tool to remove the plastic center cap from the center of the recliner handle.

  2. Pull the recliner handle off the shaft.
Installation Procedure
  1. Install the recliner handle on the recliner shaft.

  2. Push the recliner handle firmly onto the recliner shaft until fully seated.
  3. Install the plastic center cap into the center of the recliner handle.

The cruise control and horn quit together, but there is no fuse marked as such.

The horn is protected by fuse #9 (20 Amp), but my diagrams don't show which fuse
controls the cruise control.
Your Voyager has 2 fuse panels - one under the driver's side instrument panel (just to the right
of the parking brake pedal), and one next to the battery, under a plastic cover..

O'reily stocks a new handle that is especially made to replace the handle that broke. It attaches to the broken shaft you have sticking out of your seat. This is a common problem.
