Mazda soho lights not working at the back

All the lights at the back of the car are not working, no lights, no break lights. I have checked all the fuses and globes and everything is fine. Help?

where did you find the fuses and how did you check them? Since you said that you are a woman,do you know anything about electrics? If you do then I will take it that we are looking deeper for the fault, It will be easy also for me to advice you correct and not sending you to do wrong tests, check upds and might be spending some money for parts which will not need replacement. Now with what you have I personally believe the fault is either blown fuse or relay(s).Need an expert to do the check and to repair the fault. The fuse (s) or relay(s) can be found in a fuse box which is a black plastic box writing on top "FUSES" which is located either in the engine compartment on the left or right side ,or under the dashboard on the driver's legroom.

Im not a complete idiot lol. Thank you for the advice. It was not the fuses or the relays just a little wire in the back that had somehow come apart. But I fixed it :)

What about earthing wires? Also check for the rear light units connectors,if are clean and having good contact and click well on their connectors.

Check the brake light switch located under the dash, and is energized by depressing the brake pedal.

SOURCE: Tail Light Problem

If you get power at center terminal with a test light, (careful, don't touch side of socket.) then try grounding (clamping) test light to outside of socket (which is your ground for bulb) . If test light doesn't light, it's bad ground.

Mazda soho suddenly overheating what could be the problem

If it happened suddenly check as engine warms up and temp gauge approaches normal if the cooling fans turn themselves on. If not check for fuse or relay. If it isn't those you may need a temp sender switch

My Mazda Soho fan is not working 98 so I'm afraid it will boil when I drive a long distance

You are Right as rain... DO not EVEN think about it.

You would be money ahead to pay the worst possible repair price or rent a car..

Not finding any '98 SOHO in the USA market data-bases I have available or I'd try to point you to your fuses, relays... and how to test your fan motor...

Putting a search for your viewing...

There seems to be a lot of chatter about a $40 fan controller
(sorry I didn't zero in better than this... )

Scope with a meter for a possible Worn Coil, Worn plug wires, distributor could be faulty/ distributor cap/rotor, ground wire from computer/ check ground connections if they are worn/ or for corrosion at connectors. Start with the cheapest route and go from there.

Mazda Soho 121 Clutch Problems

sounds like you need to bleed the brakes again. Get a clear hose and put it on the bleed nipple on the slave cylinder so you can see the air bubbles in the fluid. bleed the clutch until there are no air bubbles in that clear hose. Even the little tiny bubbles can add up to lots of air in the system.
