Check the connectors to each injector and tighten each one to specifications. Also check for clogged injectors vedry possible after so many years of use. Back pressure from the pump could be forcing diesel past the seals!

ordinary engine oil
will not be a problem as it mixes well with the diesel fuel and will be burnt through the injectors
diesel fuel is just engine oil refined to a higher level

Yes, i have a c230 mercedes kompressor.

not necessarily
when diesels knock and diesel at low rpms it generally indicates a dribbling or leaking injector/s
have an accredited diesel repair shop check it out
If it has some miles on it and the injectors have never been done then the injectors are a fair bet

Noise fuel injectors

When a diesel injector goes bad and no longer sprays a fine mist of fuel but 'hose pipes', this causes engine knock or hammering. Some folks call this 'nailing' but is usually under acceleration when this 'nailing' is heard.

Injector must be bech tested at a diesel shop.

Detroit diesel injector installation

thoroughly clean area around injectors, and then blow with compressed air so no bits will fall in the holes when injectors removed.loosen main injector pipe nut, remove return fuel line, dont lose copper washers, put special fuel bolts back in top of injector firm[by hand] undo holding down bolts evenly, undo fully injector pipe nut,.gently pry injector loose, and remove, making sure sealing washer at bottom also comes out..while I dont specifically know this particular engine, this guide applies to most diesel motors.I have rebuilt a 6v72 detroit motor, yrs ago.Assembly is reversal.may need to crank over to bleed diesel at injector, always use new sealing washers.

hi, yes you can, cant remember exact figure think its 0.9mm, use the bolt above where the spline enters the block to adust the timing by ear-give merc a ring for the exact dial gauge setting as it is different for each engine.

Want start i have diesel at the injectors....

Be clear with your question ! Does it run or not ? How you know you have diesel fluid at the injectors ? Did you crack the injector lines during starting ?If you did, than most likely the Fuel pressure is to low or air in the system or the glow plugs are Unserviceable.

When you say 'biodiesel' do you mean true bio that is a mixed product or a combination of vege oil/diesel or pure vege oil? What is your daily air temp? Pure vege and even some combos with a high percentage of vege will thicken up in your injector pump, lines and injectors. If you're in a cold climate, I suggest moving the vehicle into a garage (preferrably heated) warm the car up as much as possible, using a tarp and heaters if nescessary. (Don't start a fire!) There also is a bolt on top of the water seperator (looks like a spin on oil filter in front of the engine) that you can loosen while you crank the engine until fuel comes out of the bolt hole. This removes any air trapped in the line. Hopefully you filled the H2O seperator with diesel prior to reinstalling it.Don't forget to add regular diesel to the fuel tank to thin out the vege, if that's where you put it. If you think that the mechanical fuel pump is giving up the ghost, I suggest trying an inline fuel pump from an early '90s Chevy diesel. It's electric and can be placed on the firewall near the inline filter, just bypass the mechanical and give it a battery source that is keyed.
