Question about 1997 Chrysler Sebring
Apparently you didn't have a comprehensive insurance policy where it could be declared a total loss? That would have been your best option. You may have lingering effects that will be difficult to overcome. Just think, every electrical connection not sealed with a weather-tight seal is subject to corrosion and failure.
The only place to begin is at the power distribution block. It should be removed and thoroughly cleaned. All relays should be suspect-sometimes water can get in them through a tiny crack. Get a couple of cans of CRC electronic cleaner spray, and clean and spray all electrical contact points. Get the box all back together and see if power is restored. Did any water get inside the car and up under the dash? More problems to be encountered there. Sheesh, guy, I think I would consider another car, and keep yours for a parts car.
