Question about 1995 Dodge Intrepid

Turn signals wont work

Recently added aftermarket subs to the car. Ran the power to the battery. Now the turn signals do not work and makes a buzzing noise when I try to turn the hazards on. Fuses are good and flasher is good. I put the power for the amp on the bolt that loosens the clamp on the positive battery terminal in front of the two small connectors. Do you think the amp is taking power from those 2 small connectors?

Reboot the computer. Yes, you have possibly scrambled it as cars have multiple computers.

There should also be a unit called the electronic flash module / unit. It should be somewhere under the driver's side dash.. unfortunately I do not know where in particular

you may have a bad flasher needing replacement. just because you hear it click when you turn on the signals does not mean the bi-metallic strip inside is working.

My diamante is making a buzzing soung from the inside of the car

Has the car started since you changed the radio? Many manufacturers incorporate an anti-theft system that is tied to and through the radio (radios are frequently stolen rather than the entire car). Did you replace the radio with an OEM model or an aftermarket? If OEM, you may need an unlock code for the radio in order to start your car.

Can a car still run on a low alternator fuse?

fuses do not draw power if all of the "fused" or fuse protected items are turning on and staying on and NOT blowing a fuse then the issue is NOT with any fuse..no matter what. if the alarm is an aftermarket alarm disconnect it from the battery and forget about it because alarms are not effective anyhow and it will eliminate this issue which can leave you stranded in the middle of nowhere..advise take out the aftermarket alarm ASAP!

My turn singal wont come on an its makes noise when I do turn it on a 99 durango 4x4

The noise you here may be a bad flasher, sometimes you hear a buzzing sound.I have found that a lot of dodge, jeep and Chrysler have a problem with aftermarket flashers.Sometimes the flasher will go bad and not work or make noise. If you like you can go to an auto parts store and try the flasher they sell, if you have a problem still then try a dealer flasher.See if the 4 way flashers work, or try to put signal on and gentle move the signal switch arm up , or down and see if the signal starts to work. if it does then you have a bad signal switch, also called a multi-function switch. let me know the out come, good day.

1998 ford taurus, fan keeps running after you turn off engine-ran battery down.

The thermostat for the fans has failed in the power-on mode. You can either replace the thermostat with a factory unit or if you are handy with automotive wiring, an aftermarket fan thermostat can be added to the circuit to control the fans.

I installed an aftermarket radio in my 2003 ford expedition and my amp won't power up nor will my rear sub woofer play.

Do you have a battery positive wire as well as a switchable power wire? Is it properly grounded? Double check for power and ground. Aftermarket radios have two blue wires for switchable power. one for an amp, and the other for a power antenna. Make sure the right one is used.

turn the ignition to the ON position and check to see if you can hear the fuel pump making a buzzing sound. if it doesnt make a buzzing sound, the the fuel pump isnt working. if the fuel pump sint working, then check the fuse in the fuse box under the hood.
