It sounds like one of your air bags could have blown. I would check them first. I would also suggest checking into a replacement non air conversion kit from Strutmasters. I replaced the air system on my 2002 Navigator and saved a lot of time, money and headaches. The lines on my navigator had holes in them and I replaced the compressor twice before I realized it. Very costly. Avoid all the hassle and check out Strutmasters.
it iss probably a broken brake cable. If the handle offers no resistance when you pull on it then the cable is broken. If it offers a lot of resistance then it is rusted and needs to be replaced. If the cable is OK then the problem lies inside the wheel where the emergency brake cable activates the mechanism.
I had to Put BF Goodrich Radial T/A's on Mine for the Same Problem. A Lot easier to Navigate with now and will Hug a Curve like a Vette! Please Rate my Response, I need all the Help That I can Get! Thanks!
