Question about 2001 Lincoln Navigator
My truck tends to not want to start. I had it towed twice. And everytime when we reach the destination and truck is dropped off, it starts no problems..Doesn't idle hard...nothing. Running normal. I added an Octane booster, filled it with gas and drove it around hard. Flooring it each time. I let it idle for about 15 minutes. I shut it off and didn't start again. I have no clue!!
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).

Turn the key forward a notch then it should come out. If you are turning the key all the way off it enables the accessories (radio etc), locks the key in the ignition and disables the gear shifter.
If thats not the case then there is a button to be depressed so that the key can turn anticlockwise>off another click and the key can be removed.
It'll be one or the other....faulty ignition lock is the only other diagnosis

i had the same trouble, there is a rubber boot under the cover on the top of the motor, it is coming from the egr valve, takes about 5 mins to repair and less than 5 dollars.

Hi. I have seen lincolns with 200,000 miles on em.. That said, I am a wee bit suspicious that your had exactly 100,000 miles on it when you bought it. Possible but not likely. Go to a reputable mechanic and see what he says. Shop around. Keep notes so you remember the details. Joe
