The float is probably mis-adjusted in the carburetor.
Either that or the choke is out of adjustment.
It would probably bne best to rebuild it if you can, or have it rebuilt.

1993 buick skylark stalls

Is the check engine light on ?
It sounds like the engine temp sensor is not right, but if that were true you should have a check engine light and a code for the sensor.
Have you checked fuel pressure ?

Why does a buick skylark have 2 catalytic converters

If there's no power loss while accelerating, 99.9% guaranteed not to be the cat. converter. I'd start with the ignition module. When they go bad they can, almost always, still work properly when they're cold but then fail after they warm up, and it's because of this fact that when you have it tested, it needs to be tested 4-5 times in a row. This constant testing will bring it up to the temp where it would fail. Even a bad module will pass the first couple tests.

2004 ram3500 transmission slippage when warm

Hi, transmission slipping normally does not occur when the transmission is warm, as warm temperatures favor proper working of the automatic transmission systems. Nonetheless, if problems such as, broken transmission bands, gears or torque conversion already exist, then the transmission might slip even in warm temperatures. Another situation may arise, if the fluid suffers from contraction in cold weather and gradually the weather warms up sufficiently, to expand the internal parts and fluids. Then due to cold weather, a small transmission problem might occur. However, the problem may be too small to affect the vehicle. However, warm weather cannot be directly linked to transmission slipping.

Car does not want to start in cold weather, idles for 2 sec then quits this continues for about 10 to 15 min until engine gets warm then starts.

Sounds like you may have a bad coolant temp. sensor, scan your system for trouble codes, it may tell you, or just change it, at least you'll eliminate one possibility.

Vibration at idle

it may be idle control sensor or a bad mas air flow sensor--maf sensor in otherwords. or could be engine misfire at cold temp. start. only time when cold? or does run better when warm? try warming engine to operating temperature before driving,if problem removes it's self after warm up,up grade gas to 93 octane for 1 tank full. then see if problem goes away. it's cold where you are right? if so the fuel needs to be at least midgrade 89 octane fuel because 87 octane fuel will not start your honda correctly at cold temps. in cold weather 93 or super gas octane will start ,no problem, low octane fuel sometimes gels, or freezes at low temps. if in warm climate, change the fuel filter, add fuel injector cleaner to your fuel tank[preferablly lucas fuel treatment] this will lube your fuel injectors and give better fuel mileage. thank you for choosing fixya.com
