ok if it is getting spark at spark plugs that rules out ignition, let go to fuel, needs to check fuel pressure and also injector pulsation, if no pulsation fuel will not get into cylinder's, also a knock sensor will not keep an engine from starting, it controls ignition timing once engine is running.

maybe, maybe not. If the chain only slips a link, this will not happen. It depends on how it fails, and you never know exactly what the damage is until you replace the chain and try to start it. If you're sure there is SOME damage, then you go ahead and pull the head off to assess the cost before replacing the chain. The damage can range from a bent valve to busted pistons. Realistically no. Physically you can do it, but it will create a multitude of problems with your computer. IE: 02 sensors will trigger immediately, etc...
