I had the same problem. There is a broken wire in the rubber when you open the door. Take the rubber cover off. Mine was the black wire, it looked like it was cut. I put it back together and it worked fine.

The door auto-door lock on the drivers side only doesn't work, and one you start the car and go the indoor lights don't turn off.

Look in rubber casing at hinge of door for broken wire.

The wire may just be starting to break, I would still pull the casing back and look to see if the wires are starting to break.

Why won't my electric door locks on my 2012 ford escape actuate automatically at 15-17 mph like they did before?

That feature can be turned off and on using a WDS (a Ford dealer only scan tool). If you had work done on your vehicle just before losing it, the dealership may enable it for free. Good Luck!

Sliding doors will not unlock or lock with remote or inside buttons. does not automatically lock with other doors when 15 mph is reached. both doors do open and shut when already unlocked using remote.

On each door there is a connection that senses when the door is closed. If this sensor is dirty, then it will impact the locking of the door. You should also inspect your fuse panel for blown fuses

Speedometer does not work below 20 MPH and transmission does not shif right on 4 cyl automatic trans 2001 626

Check the wire leads to your Vehicle Velocity Speed (VVS) sensor, or replace the VVS sensor. it's located on the Transmission's out put shaft, on the trans axle, underneath the air compartment (air filter).

Automatic door locks are not working on 1999 ford expedition

If the button is not locking the doors then its most likely a connection problem with the button.
If you are talking about the automatic door locks that lock the doors when the car hits 5 or 10 mph then its probably because they aren't turned on which they can be turned on very easily.

Automatic door locks wont work on my 2004 jeep grand cherokee

There is a broken wire in the rubber casing between the door and the vehicle. Take the rubber casing off and you will more than likely find a broken wire or one about to break. Been there and done that.

Automatic door locks 15 mph or above

I have had this problem once before. I solved it by resetting the "automatic locks" setting on the overhead console...first turned this off and then turned it back on a day later and the locks worked again fine.
