it must crank fast or no car starts.
mine push starts and gravity starts.

look at crank shaft of car (front pulley) is it spinning fast as person 2 cranks, yes, then it is cranking and must be fast and robust.

There is a pulley on a tensioner, you need to put a wrench or breaker bar on bolt in middle of pulley and turn to release tension and belt comes off,

Undo motor mounts and remove the fan. Use a cherry picker or hoist and raise the engine. I've had some i can get out like this. The only other way is yank the motor

Peugeot 407 cooler fan has started to make a louder noise, it works when it should and switches off too but it sounds like its going too fast I can hear it clearly above the engine whilst driving


its not that the fan is going faster it that the fan it getting louder so if i was you i would get some oil n put it to use on youer fan as soon as you ac ok i hope this helps you out

ford does have their own type you can get it at any parts store just tell them what it's for also at Ford

Possible solution is to check the fan speed switch. These go bad and won't change the speed/ or function in the lower speeds.

Sounds like you have transmission fluid in the antifreeze. The transmission cooler might be leaking in the radiator. If it is, replace the radiator.

Disconnect pos. battery cable for 3-5 minutes, then reconnect that should do it!!!!!!!!!!!!!
